SprayTek applies a variety of organic coatings to meet automotive specifications. Our most popular coating, Magni 565, has more than 50 OEM approvals, meeting specifications from Ford, GM, Fiat Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and many other automotive and non-automotive companies. Used on fasteners, stampings and latching hardware, these chrome-free coatings protect metal from corrosive effects of heat, humidity, chemicals and bi-metallic contact, improving surface characteristics such as lubricity, conductivity and color. They also pass up to 1,500 hours of salt-spray testing.
SprayTek also applies various non-automotive water-reducible coatings for agricultural, construction and industrial applications. Magni 569, for example, is the best for ACQ Wood in the building and deck industries. These water-based coatings, available in more than 20 colors and sold in major hardware centers, exhibit excellent weatherability and corrosion resistance for treated lumber.
